i made my first factual error (since i started my new job...yeah, i had a couple channel 12!) in a story that i did last night. it wasn't major, but basically i didn't phrase a sentence properly and it came out sounding different then what i meant. the guy who i interviewed (who ive done stories with before so he knows this is not typical of me) sent me an e-mail this morning and thanked me for covering the story, but also pointed out the error . he was very nice about it...but i HATE when that happens! even if it's just a minor mistake, it's always an embarassing. honestly, i make very few errors in my reporting and i pride myself on that so when something like this, as minor as it is, happens...it's still not a good feeling.
what can i say? im not the perfect reporter all the time!
hmm...i guess that would make me human!
